Greetings from WHO!

I would like to personally invite you to attend the 2nd World Congress of the CBR Global Network (CGN), that will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 26-28 September 2016.

The theme of the conference is “CBR: Empowering and Enabling”. This reflects the work of the Network to bring together CBR stakeholders – with expertise in CBR practice, policy, education, research and social development, to continue the on-going dialogue to promote the well-being of persons with disabilities around the world. The conference will focus on how the Sustainable Development Goals can be used to ensure that persons with disabilities can achieve full inclusion and become assets to their countries through their contribution to society. The conference offers an excellent platform for networking, information-sharing and education about current ideas in disability equality and good practices in disability-inclusive community development.

Leaders from civil society, CBR practitioners and researchers, human rights activists and members of development organizations are all invited to the 2nd CGN World Congress to gain new insights and develop sustainable collaborations.

Please join me in Kuala Lumpur in September, 2016!
